Words can be constructed either horizontally from left to right or vertically from top to bottom.

Scoring

For each word scored the following formula applies to calculating how many points should a player get:

• 2 characters - 1 point
• 3 characters - 3 points
• 4 characters - 5 points
• 5 characters - 7 points
